I always go back for a reason. The staff helped me with transport on my first stay, so it stuck with me. Casa Antico Portego has Wi-Fi, luggage storage, a flat-screen TV, and an electric kettle. Perfect for me! Looking forward to coming back for Christmas.

We chose this hotel for its beautiful ancient Venezian vibe. The whole mansion is furnished with family antiques, giving it a unique charm. The suite was clean and beautiful, and Giorgia was very nice. The hotel's location was perfect, just a 1-minute walk to the vibrant bar street in Canareggio. The little garden was charming, and having multiple keys added to the mansion's atmosphere.
Can recommend this hotel.

Brilliant location for exploring the major attractions, with easy access to transportation. Clean rooms with tasteful decor, and a beautiful courtyard for relaxation. Couldn't fault the breakfast or the attentive staff. Cons: Couldn't fault.

The nearest airport? Well, let me tell you, Venice Marco Polo Airport is just a hop, skip, and a gondola ride away! Hotel located in the oh-so-posh Cannaregio district. And breakfast? Oh darling, they offer a delightful buffet or Italian breakfast. Bellissimo!
Loved how WiFi was available in all areas, because why wouldn't I want to be constantly connected? Oh wait, that's right, I don't.

I had a fantastic experience staying at this charming B&B. Casa Antico Portego truly captures the beautiful ancient Venetian vibe. The whole mansion is adorned with family-owned antiques, creating a unique and atmospheric ambiance. The Merchant Suite, where I stayed, was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with original frescos on the walls. Giorgia, the host, was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The location is perfect, just a short walk away from a vibrant bar street in Canareggio, filled with restaurants, cafés, and bars. The little garden added to the charm of the place, although mosquitos can be a nuisance. The multiple keys provided also made me feel like I was truly staying in a mansion rather than a hotel.
No complaints!

Breakfast was a feast fit for a queen! So many options to choose from, I needed a strategy to try them all. And the WiFi was as reliable as my maid, always there when I needed it.
I guess the coffee wasn't quite up to my sophisticated standards. But hey, even a lady of refinement can't have it all.

Clean rooms and well-maintained bathroom. Great location - super close to major attractions like St. Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge. Tried amazing seafood spaghetti at Ristorante Due Fratelli - right opposite the B&B. Helpful host Giorgia made us feel welcome. Good WiFi and daily room cleaning.
Would definitely recommend.

The inside garden of this hotel is a beautiful and tranquil place to relax after a long day of exploring. It provides a peaceful escape from the bustling city. You can sit and enjoy a morning coffee surrounded by greenery. The hotel is conveniently located, with major attractions just a short walk away. You can easily pop out to a nearby cafe for a quick bite to eat. The room itself is stunning, with antique furniture and a comfortable bed. The bathroom is clean and well-maintained, with fresh towels provided daily. The service is excellent, with the friendly staff always ready to assist with any request. Breakfast is a bit on the sweet side, but there are plenty of other eating options nearby.
The shower head in the bathroom needs to be replaced.

The hotel had beautiful Venetian furniture and a stunning decor that immersed us in the old Venetian style. The owner of the hotel was extremely friendly and always willing to help. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants and bars. The location of the hotel was perfect for sightseeing and was close to the main terminal, making it easy for us to get around.
The breakfast provided was a bit disappointing. It lacked variety and was on the sweeter side.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! From the moment I arrived, Giorgia made me feel SUPER welcome in this beautifully converted family home. The spacious suite with original frescos and separate living area was jaw-dropping. I felt safe with auto lock doors and security cameras, and the antique furniture was well cleaned. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the train station and major attractions. Plus, the nearby restaurants are top-notch. If you want convenience, history, and luxury, this is the place to stay! Wi-Fi, luggage storage. No pets allowed and no smoking on-site.
